FAXE Patina Lye leaves the surface with a characteristic, aged appearance on oak. By mixing FAXE Combicolor, various unique color effects can be achieved.

Packaging size: 2.5 litres
Range: Approx. 6-8 m²/l.
Drying time: Approx. 5 hours at 20°C.
Application: Lamb's wool swabs, brush or sponge. Tools are cleaned in water.

Application:
Used on new untreated or sanded oak indoors. FAXE Patina Lye is used as a pre-treatment before treatment with FAXE Oil.

Pretreatment:
The surface must be untreated or freshly sanded so that the product can soak into the wood. Clean with FAXE Tree Cleaner and let dry for 5 hours.

Work instructions:
1. FAXE Patina Lye is easily applied in an even layer with lamb's wool swabs, brush or sponge in the lengthwise direction of the wood. Overlaps are smoothed while the wood is still wet.
2. When the first layer is dry after approx. 1 hour at 20°C, a new layer can be applied.

Post processing:
When the wood is dry, you can give it a robust and completely natural finish with a FAXE Oil.

Cleaning: Tools are cleaned in water.
pH value: pH value: 3-4.
Storage: Not below +5°C.
Ingredients: Glycol, citric acid and iron vitriol.

Shake/stir the product carefully before and during use. If several cans are to be used for the treatment, all contents must be mixed together before use to ensure a uniform result. It is always recommended to make a small sample to test the surface, adhesion and color tone.
