The History of Wiking Floors

Wiking Gulve was founded in 1997 by the brothers Anders and Hans Peter Korsgaard.

It all started with a modest production of plank floors in pine in rented premises of approx. 800 m2. Today, Wiking Gulve is one of Denmark's largest producers of plank floors and is also the only Danish producer with a license to produce with the Q-Loc superClick system.

Production includes specially developed 3-layer plank floors in the types of wood Pine, Ash, Oak, Douglas, Beech and Larch and the company's total area is more than 20,000 m2 located in Roslev, north of Skive.

In 2005, Wiking Gulve was taken over by Dania Capital, who invested heavily in a new production apparatus. In 2012, Wiking Gulve was sold to Kim Axelsen and John Bojesen, and the company is thus once again privately owned, and the foundation to ensure future growth and development is in place.

Since 2012, production and sales have increased by almost 50% and are still increasing.
