The Nordlys Series is Wiking Floors' new sustainable range of softwood. The name brings to mind the fantastic play of colors that can be experienced in northern Scandinavia, from where the raw material for the series is primarily sourced. The exclusive floors in a wide range of colors are produced in Denmark with a focus on sustainable operation and with responsibility for both people and the environment in mind. The series has been launched in the types of wood Pine, Larch and Douglas, and is naturally Cradle to Cradle certified. The certification commits Wiking Gulve to constant improvements in all aspects of the production process as well as the value chain.

The Nordlys Series not only has environmental benefits, it is also designed to be an exclusive series that brings the forest right into the living room. The colors give the floors a glow and exclusivity that is not seen in traditional softwood floors. The brushed surfaces remove the slightly soft part of the softwood and leave a significantly harder surface. Wiking Gulve has a tradition of good wood.
