Assembly instructions for the herringbone parquet

Now it has become even easier to place the herringbone kick with a click. With Bjelin's new improved click system, it is both faster and easier to click the sticks together than the classic herringbone parquet, which must be glued to the subfloor. With Bjelin's herringbone parquet, you minimize the need for gluing, nailing, sanding or surface treatment. The simple installation of Bjelin's herringbone parquet means that the total project time is reduced to a minimum. Under favorable conditions, a herringbone parquet from Bjelin can be installed in a single day. The herringbone kick with click provides an affordable overall price as the product is GDS friendly and can be installed by most DIYers.

Although the material price may be slightly higher for Bjelin's herringbone parquet, compared to a traditional herringbone parquet, the total cost will usually be significantly lower. Bjelin's herringbone parquet has been developed to withstand all the stresses created by seasonal variations in temperature and humidity. Since the floor is made up of individual rods that are mechanically locked together, the natural movement of the wood due to the seasonal variation in humidity can be recorded in the joint, i.e. the space between the surface layer in the rods.
