Ter Hürne uses 3 products which protect the Hywood planks from "the 4 dangers" of everyday life. The 4 dangers are: 
◾ Scratches: Floors are subjected to daily wear and tear – scratches occur: heavy scratches and micro-scratches.          
◾ Stains: Dirt can collect in the deeper parts of the floor. Over time, it can settle there permanently.
◾ Water/moisture: Water, if spills are not wiped up quickly, the wood soaks the moisture up and swells. It produces dark areas and light edges. Plank edges can be warped.
◾ Pressure: Dents and grooves in the floor look unsightly and provide places for dirt to stick. High-quality real wood planks can be significantly damaged due to carelessness - but so can other floor coverings.
