Product description & use:
Gypsum board adhesive 297 is a specially developed water-based acrylic adhesive for gluing plasterboard onto steel profiles. The glue is used in connection with the assembly of light interior partitions, and minimizes the use of screws for the assembly work. This results in a stronger construction, less physically taxing work, and time is saved for subsequent spreading of screw holes.

Instructions for use:
Preparation: The adhesive surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease, release agent, dust and loose particles. Application temperature: approx. 10 - 30 °C
Application: The glue is applied to the steel frame as specified by the plasterboard manufacturer. The glue line must be 3-4 mm in width. On profiles with plate joints, the glue is usually applied in zig-zag stripes. On profiles without joints, straight stripes are applied.
Assembly: The sheets are pressed into place while the glue still gives full adhesion to the plasterboard, and fixed with screws according to the supplier's recommendations.
Range: approx. 3 m² wall per cartridge
Cleaning: Glue on the skin is removed with soap and water. Tools are cleaned with water while the glue is still wet. Hardened glue can be removed mechanically.
