Wood Glue D3 Outside 430 is a strong one-component moisture-resistant glue that meets the requirements of class D3, according to EN204 / 205.

The glue is used where high moisture resistance is required, e.g. for laminating furniture wood, kitchen tables and for assembling frame wood, furniture for wet room etc. Wooden glue D3 Outside 430 is also suitable for edge gluing and veneering.

Can be used for cold and hot presses as well as high frequency (HF) bonding

Preparation: The adhesive surfaces must be well-adapted, clean and dry, free of oil, grease and the like. Best result is obtained on newly processed wood. When bonding certain wood species (eg oak), test gluing should be carried out, as substances in the wood can react with the glue and cause discoloration.

Application: Apply the adhesive to one surface. When bonding hard wood species, it is advantageous to apply glue to both surfaces and increase the waiting time and the pressing time.

Wood humidity: Best from approx. 7 - 15%. Application temperature: Min. +3 ° C. The temperature applies to wood, glue and room.

Open waiting time: Max. 5 minutes on pine wood at 20 ° C and 50% humidity. When merging, the glue must always give full contraction on the opposite surface. If the waiting time is "closed", it can be increased by approx. 1 - 2 minutes. The waiting time can be extended by double glue application, hard wood, lower temperature and higher air / wood humidity. The wait time is reduced at higher temperature and lower air / wood humidity.

Pressure: Approx. 1 - 5 kg / cm². For stresses in the wood, higher pressures are required.

Press Time: Min. 5 minutes for pine with approx. 9% wood moisture at 20 ° C. The pressing time must be increased by hard wood, double glue application, lower temperature and higher wood and air humidity. The press time can be reduced by e.g. preheating of the wood or use of hot press. Full strength is achieved after approx. 1 day. Full moisture resistance is achieved after approx. 5 - 7 days.

Finishing: Glued items exposed to the weather should always be treated with an effective covering surface. Cleaning: Remove skin from the skin with soap and water. Tools are cleaned with water while the glue is still wet. Dried glue dissolves with alcohol ..
