Vespox® EVT-Klar - Set
When the appearance of the floor is unimportant and you simply want a dust bond, e.g. in sheds and outbuildings, concrete floors, etc. EVT-clear is not a real floor varnish and is not intended to form an actual varnish layer. It can be difficult to ensure a healthy environment if a lot of dust is released. Therefore, it can be advantageous to seal the floor with a so-called dust binder.
Dust binding When the appearance of the floor is unimportant and you simply want a dust binding, e.g. in sheds and outbuildings. Saturated and even surface. Clear epoxy can be used as a dust binding and then finishing treatment. When treated with the product, a dust-bound and easy-to-clean surface is achieved, which ensures that the concrete floor appears non-absorbent and is easy to clean.
A practical and robust floor
Vespox EVT-Klar has good chemical resistance. This applies both in relation to weakly alkaline and acidic cleaning agents as well as oils and fats. The epoxy gives your concrete floor good resistance to foot traffic and lighter rolling loads. The surface is also characterized by having a good liquid density and at the same time a high diffusion openness. All this makes Vespox EVT-Klar a practical and robust choice for your floor.
Application:
The concrete should be ground before laying Vespox EVT-Klar. You do this with a carborundum grinder with a mesh disc. In addition, the floor must be relatively dry and have a maximum of 6% residual moisture when the epoxy is rolled on. The epoxy is given in two rounds, and a day must pass between the two treatments. After five days, the treatment is fully cured. The floor will appear glossy here and will darken slightly over time. If a matt varnish is given, the floor will appear matt.
