ARDEX P 51 is a water-based synthetic resin dispersion for priming and priming substrates before troweling and gluing, as well as for flooding cement-based substrates before laying ARDEX wear layers.
ARDEX P 51 functions as a pore sealer, dust binder and adhesive bridge and, after drying, has a water-repellent effect (cannot be used as a barrier for residual construction moisture or ground moisture).
ARDEX P 51 can be applied to absorbent and non-absorbent substrates such as raw concrete, wearing course, aerated concrete, terrazzo, gypsum putty, plasterboard, chipboard/crossboard, calcium silicate boards, clinker/tiles, cast asphalt, wooden floors, magnesite, epoxy paint/layers, painted substrates, metal substrates, etc.

Very smooth, non-absorbent surfaces:
Approx. 300 g pure undiluted ARDEX P 51 per m².

Non-absorbent, smooth surfaces:
Approx. 200 g pure ARDEX P 51 diluted with 100 g water per m²
For raw concrete layers and decks:
Approx. 150 g pure ARDEX P 51 diluted with 150 g water per m²
On absorbent surfaces:
Approx. 50 g pure ARDEX P 51 diluted with 150 g water per m²
Porous, absorbent substrates:
Approx. 30 g pure ARDEX P 51 diluted with 150 g water
