Trip Trap Wood floor oil Natural and Extra White is used for base oil treatment of all untreated and lye-treated, sanded or new wooden floors (indoors). Nature is used for dark floors such as merbau, teak, mahogany, cherry, keruing etc. Extra white is used for softwood floors and light hardwood floors such as beech, oak, ash, hevea etc. The oil treatment can be done both manually and mechanically. Mechanical oil treatment is recommended for floor surfaces over 15 m².

Work Description
1: Wash the floor with Trip Trap Wood Cleaner, 1/4 liter to 10 liters of water. Wash afterwards with clean water. The floor must then dry for at least 8 hours until it is completely dry.
2: Shake the can thoroughly. Benefit approx. 1 liter of oil over 10 m² with a paint roller or brush.
3: Let the oil stand on the surface for 15 min. If the oil is quickly absorbed into the wood, apply more oil.
4: After 15 min. polish the oil into the wood with a polishing pad. Continue polishing until the wood is saturated.
5: The floor is polished with clean cotton cloths before proceeding to the next area. Afterwards, the floor must not appear wet, and no excess oil must remain on the surface.
6: The above method is continued until the entire floor has been treated.
7: Wait min. 6 hours before the floor can be finished polishing with a polishing pad and a thin layer of oil. Use approx. 1 dl of oil per 8 m². Wipe off any excess oil with clean, dry cotton cloths.
8: The floor is pre-cured after 4 hours at 20°C and thoroughly cured after 5-7 days.
9: Corridor areas can be covered with cardboard until the floor is thoroughly cured.
