Turbo Tack 291 is a neutral moisture-curing assembly adhesive, free of solvents and phthalates. Forms a strong and at the same time elastic adhesive joint that can absorb any movements between building parts. Turbo Tack 291 is odorless, fast curing and has excellent resistance to climatic influences. Turbo Tack 291 can be used outside and inside, on walls, ceilings and floors. Good for e.g. installation tasks where mirrors, glass building blocks, panels and other sheet materials must be set up without the use of support. Instructions for use:
Preparation of materials: The adhesive surfaces must be clean, dry, free of release agent, grease, dust and loose particles. Turbo Tack 291 can be used on surfaces such as brick, concrete, eternit, wood, glass, most metals, painted surfaces, etc. Since in practice variations can occur in the individual materials, sufficient adhesion tests should always be carried out before starting - especially large - tasks.
Application temperature: Can be applied at temperatures from +5 °C to +40 °C.
Application: Turbo Tack 291 is applied in adhesive strands to the workpiece or wall/ceiling at a mutual distance of 3-20 cm, depending on strength requirements. Some tasks may require special assembly methods, follow the supplier's instructions.
Range: 2 – 3 m²/cartridge, depending on dimensions and strength requirements.
Installation time: Install within 5-10 minutes after applying adhesive strands.
Assembly: The items are carefully pressed together. The load-bearing capacity on the wall is approximately the same as that a 10x10 cm object with a weight of 1 kg must have approximately 75% of its adhesive surface covered in order to be fixed without the use of support. The figures must be regarded as a rough estimate and the glue requirement for specific tasks must be investigated and assessed on the basis of practical experience.
The adhesive joint hardens with approx. 2 mm/day depending on humidity and temperature.
Cleaning: Tools are cleaned - and glue is removed - with Wipes 915 or turpentine. Hardened sealant can only be removed mechanically. Wash hands and skin with soap and water
