Membra Pipe Sleeve Floor consists of PE foam and self-adhesive butyl, which is protected with silicone-treated paper. The paper is split in two for simple and safe assembly. The cuff has a self-adhesive collar and is designed with a cone-shaped stud that provides a watertight and secure connection to the feedthrough.
Field of application:
Membra Pipe Sleeve Floor included as part of the Membra wet room system. The product is used to ensure a robust and watertight connection to pipe penetrations in floors. The sleeve can also be used to seal pipe penetrations in walls. The pipe sleeve has particularly good adhesion to solid substrates such as concrete, putty, plasterboard etc.
Assembly:
Membra Pipe Sleeve Floor is installed by pulling the sleeve over the pipe sticking out of the floor. The protective paper is then removed so that the cuff can be stuck to the substrate. Use a smoothing trowel to press the cuff firmly. See separate assembly instructions. NB: The substrate must be firm, clean, dry and grease-free. The floor must always first be primed with Membra Adhesive Primer.
